The ONE program, is a term, which incorporates a whole suite of activities and projects for young people, within the Methodist Church UK Wide. We also have some specific expressions of these in the Yorkshire area, which are explained below.
ONE Opportunity
A programme in the Yorkshire North and East Methodist District which aims to enable and equip young people aged 16 -23 to work for their own churches for 3 hours a week and to encourage a new generation of ministry in our region. Click here for more details:ONE Opportunity
ONE X
“One X” is a circuit based youth program for year 6–11’s. The young people meet to talk about the big questions of life, the universe and everything…Oh, and God! We chill out, cook, play games, do outdoor activities, worship, talk about theology… Currently running in York and Goole & Selby Circuits. Click here for more details:ONE
Step Up!
“Step Up” is the youth synod, we meet alongside the adult synod, but with more age appropriate shenanigans! Over the next few years we hope to develop this into something that empowers the young people, enabling them to shape the church of the future.

3Generate
3generate is the Methodist Children and
Youth Assembly, an annual weekend for young people to change and
challenge the Church, the world and ourselves. It is an action-packed
and inspiring weekend for hearing the voice of children and young people
across the Methodist Church, focussing on fun, faith and friends.
