OUR minister

is the Rev Andy Lindley (tel York 784545). Andy, of Lincolnshire stock, is an ex-physicist and engineer and is married with two older children. He has pastoral oversight of three other churches – Acomb, Holgate and West Thorpe – and is the Superintendent, and Co-Enabler, or ‘The Kairos Movement’, which is a dispersed and inclusive community that value curiosity and fun, being connected and grounded through story, exploring their faith shifting. They are a movement for those hungry to live differently, aching for a transformed work and seeking a more balanced, life affirming way to be followers of Jesus. He also holds the post of ‘District Pioneer Enabler’ encouraging those looking to create fresh expressions of faith, and church in the Yorkshire district.

Our Lay Pastor

Louisa Taylor – who works alongside Andy at Acomb, as well as Southlands, and has previously spent several years as part of the Taize community in France.
