Board Game Afternoons – Southlands Methodist Church

Board Games church is a bunch of local families, who enjoy playing board games who come together for an afternoon. Its for those who enjoy both the old classic board games, but primarily the more modern and complex games, like 7 Wonders, Carcassone, Merchant Adventurers, etc now available. We meet at Acomb Methodist Church in Room 5, which is down the main corridor, from 4.00–6.00pm on the First Sunday of the Month. We welcome those of any age, although ask that children under 16 be accompanied by an adult for safety. We have games that suit all ages, and you are more than welcome to bring your own, but do ask that adults bringing very young children are willing to oversee their playing, or that another adult is happy to do so.

We ask for a donation towards refreshments and towards new games, and we take it in turns to bring cakes.
