The worshipping community

A Worshipping Community

THE main purpose of the church is to be a place of worship where people can meet regularly to praise God, to learn about God’s love and purpose for His people, and be inspired to work and witness for God in the days that follow.

Sunday services normally take place at 10:30 and during June 2018 the focus of these services will be the Old Testament book of Jonah as we follow the pattern suggested by the Methodist Connexion for Bible Month. There will also be two study groups in each of the four weeks of June as we gtry to explore Jonah further.

Last year the focus for Bible Month was the Letter of James and services and sgtudy group seemed to  go very well.

Our Covenant Service

Our annual Covenant Service, which takes place in January, is a uniquely Methodist service. It is very special to us as we renew our promise to serve God wherever he calls us, in whatever way he calls and in any situation in which we find ourselves.
