Rooms at Southlands and how to book

Rooms for hire at Southlands

AT FIRST sight our premises are typical of those built in the Victorian era, but we have a modern, welcoming worship centre, a useful suite of meeting rooms and a community centre which is home to most of our work with children and young people. We hope we can meet your needs.

The community centre and some of our rooms are available for hire on Saturday mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and on some other afternoons and occasional evenings during the week at quite reasonable charges (see below) so get in touch with Room Bookings Officer Wyn Lawrence on York 639231, or email her on wyn@southlandsmethodist.org.uk. But bookings need to be made at least a week and preferably a fortnight in advance because of the need to get booking forms prepared and signed in advance.

An upright piano is kept in this room which also has the advantage of being near the main kitchen.
There are some afternoons and even the occasional evening when this room is available for hire.
